The goal
Take a garage band all the way to legend status. Build a lineup, play bigger rooms, release music, go on tour, then prestige and do it again stronger. A first run to National takes a minimum of three years (156 weeks).
Weeks and energy
Time moves when you tap End Week. You get a pool of ⚡ energy each week to spend. Ending the week refills it, pays royalties and merch, charges expenses, plays your booked shows and moves albums along.
Stages
Your stage (Garage, Local, Regional, National, Legend) depends on fame and fans, and National and Legend also need years in the game. A higher stage unlocks bigger venues, auditions, tours and band slots. Once you outgrow a tier, its shows give far fewer fans, so move up.
Recruit
Hold auditions to find 4 candidates at a time, or hire a pro (strong now, weekly wage). ★ Stars are better but have an ego. Replace weak members as you grow.
Your members
Tap a member on the Band tab. Take Lessons trains just them for money, once per member per week. Kick Out lowers chemistry for a while, unless it's a high-ego star with more than 3 incidents.
Studio
Practice raises everyone's skill, but each extra practice in a week is less effective, and gains shrink as skill rises. Write Song to build unreleased songs (each has a genre and quality). Release a Single for a quick fan boost and a shot at a hit, or 4+ songs as an Album. Higher quality means better royalties and hit odds.
Perform
Garage Parties are free. Venues need skill and a stage. Booked shows play out when you End Week. Tours are multi-week runs that cost energy every week but pay well and can trigger road events. A tour also locks in a #1 hit's boost.
Calendar
Every 52 weeks is a year. Summer is festival season, Fall boosts royalties, Winter is slow for gigs but good for rehearsal. You get a recap every year.
Goals, events and rivals
Three goals appear every week and pay a reward. Events pop up now and then on the Band tab: choose Accept or Decline. A rival band grows alongside you. Stay ahead of them for 6 weeks to outgrow them.
Collection
Certain events let you buy or receive collectible gear. Each one gives a permanent perk and is kept forever.
Prestige and Legacy
At the National stage you can prestige. You earn Legacy points based on peak fame, fans, albums and hits, then spend them on permanent upgrades (starting cash, extra energy, better auditions, a Hall of Fame member and more). The 156-week minimum for National still applies every run.
